To be fair, there is a lot behind this project.
I originally worked on this character more than 6 years ago after making one of my first D&D one shot ever. I wanted to give this one another try now that I feel more comfortable with the entire pipeline.
I started this project more than 1 year ago to portrait my wizard character in the 6 years long D&D campaign I'm playing with my closest friends.
There was no clear concept for him and the clothing/accessories he wears are all part of his ingame "kit", there is actually still some stuff missing (hair, or did someone say a rat called Shatana and a construct named Zhuti?!).
I want to put this one "out there" because I think it kind of reached a milestone. I will update this one down the line with more parts but it will require more time and I've been without updates on this website for quite a while now.
I wanted to work on this character using a PBR workflow and test out the texturing in Marmoset.
The character has been rendered and texturized entirely in Marmoset for the most part using 8k textures (I wanted to really sress this feature, and I got to say, it surprised me with some hiccups here and there).
Many thanks to a lot of friends that gave me tips and tricks along the process. You know who you are!!!
By the way, Blomkal is in the same party as this dark dwarf over here
